Job Title: Junior Python Manual Test Engineer
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2-3 Years
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana(Hybrid)
Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of Python-based applications including web applications, APIs, and backend systems Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data Execute test cases, document results, and report issues clearly Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools Validate application data through database testing using SQL queries Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes Apply knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies during testing activities Use basic Python scripting for test data preparation, validation, or simple testing utilities Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as required Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews Follow defined testing processes, standards, and best practices Communicate testing status, issues, and risks clearly to the team Gain or demonstrate exposure to automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium or PyTest to support testing activities Develop an understanding of cloud-based applications and environments such as AWS or Azure, when applicable
Qualification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
