Position Summary
Busek is seeking a System Test Engineer with strong experience testing complex panel-based systems, with an emphasis on system integration, controls, and software-driven functionality. This role will focus on developing, executing, and documenting system-level test procedures to verify proper operation of panel systems and their interfaces. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience writing formal test scripts and validating system behavior against requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, write, and maintain detailed system-level test scripts and procedures for panel systems Execute system integration and verification testing on panel-based systems Perform functional and performance testing of control logic, I/O, and system interfaces Validate system behavior against system and customer requirements Troubleshoot system-level issues in coordination with systems, software, and electrical teams Document test results and generate formal test reports Support system integration, test readiness reviews, and acceptance testing Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases Improve test processes, documentation standards, and repeatability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong system-level test experience with panel-based or control systems Demonstrated experience writing formal test scripts and procedures Experience with system integration and verification (IV&V) Experience testing control logic, software-driven functionality, and I/O behavior Strong technical documentation and reporting skills Comfortable working in a lab/production test environment
