A leading Web3‑driven financial technology organization is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Enterprise APIs Engineering team. This role is central to the core financial platform, ensuring the reliability and correctness of the APIs that power critical payment, trading, and investment flows used both internally and by global partners. If you’re passionate about API‑level quality, backend systems, and high‑impact financial products, this role offers the chance to work on complex, distributed systems that move real value across global markets.

You will own the validation of product functionality directly at the API layer, ensuring business requirements, financial logic, and system behavior are implemented with precision. This is a senior, hands‑on position involving close collaboration with backend engineers, active participation in design reviews, and meaningful contributions to automated test coverage.

Responsibilities Test and validate REST APIs supporting core financial, payment, and investment operations. Ensure business requirements are implemented correctly, including edge cases, error handling, and failure scenarios.

Design and execute end‑to‑end API test scenarios covering

• Business logic & data integrity
• Authentication/authorization (OAuth2 / JWT)
• Idempotency & consistency
• Asynchronous flows (webhooks, callbacks, event‑driven behaviors)
• Review API specifications, contracts, and technical designs to identify risks and test gaps early.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and functional testing across API and (when needed) UI layers.
• Document defects clearly and maintain well‑structured QA documentation, logs, and reports.

Automation & Quality Improvements Work with existing automated API test suites and interpret results. Contribute to expanding automated test coverage for REST APIs and financial flows. Collaborate with engineering to improve reliability, release confidence, and testing processes. Help evolve QA practices and quality standards within the Enterprise APIs team.

Required 8+ years’ experience in QA or software testing with emphasis on APIs or backend systems. Strong experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Bruno.

Proven ability to validate

• API schemas and contracts
• Business rules & edge cases
• Error handling & idempotency
• Authentication/authorization flows
• Experience testing event‑driven processes (e.g., webhooks).
• Exposure to API or functional test automation (Newman, Postman collections, Cypress, etc.).
• Strong exploratory testing skills and a risk‑based mindset.
• Experience in agile development environments.
