Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Experience: 2–2.5 Years

Employment Type: Full-time

Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
Execute test cases and document results, identifying and tracking defects through resolution
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments
Perform API and basic database testing where required
Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and project timelines
Continuously improve test processes and automation coverage
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–2.5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
Strong experience in manual testing methodologies and processes
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
Understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of SQL and database testing
