Role & seniority: Manual QA Engineer (Android); 2–3 years of manual backend testing experience; QA feature owner for new features
Stack/tools: Android/iOS cross-platform testing; manual backend testing with API tools and databases; proxy debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler, Proxyman); test management (Qase, TestRail); databases
Perform manual backend testing using API tools/databases; validate new features
Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing on mobile apps; create/maintain test documentation (test cases, bug reports, checklists)
Participate in SCRUM ceremonies; execute/validate A/B tests with product/analytics; investigate and report bugs with clear details
2–3 years in manual backend testing (APIs, databases)
Cross-platform testing experience (iOS & Android)
Experience with proxy debugging tools and test management systems
Prior experience as QA feature owner; strong documentation and bug-reporting discipline
Familiarity with SDLC QA processes and automation awareness (even if not required)

About the role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer (Android) to join our product team and ensure the high quality of our mobile applications. You will play a key role in validating new features, improving testing processes, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers throughout the entire development lifecycle. \n
In this role, you will Perform manual backend testing using API tools and databases Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing of mobile applications Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, bug reports, and checklists Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and QA activities across all stages of the SDLC Execute and validate A/B tests in collaboration with product and analytics teams Investigate, analyze, and report bugs with clear and actionable details Own functional testing of new features, acting as a QA feature owner
