Our client is a leader in OLAN technology. As part of a small team, you will design, build and implement test automation suites that provide product testing that support the customers' experience and maintain our leadership in this market.
RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain test strategies, specifications and plans Help design and build a test automation suite that provides rigorous testing of products. Execute test plans and test cases both manually and/or test automation Work with the development engineers to proactively debug hardware and software defects and correct them.
BACKGROUND 3 or more years of previous work experience in OLAN testing or equivalent experience in technical training and or continuing education Working experience of Networking (OSI model and protocols) with a focus on L2 (e.g. LLDP, xSTP, ACLs, MAB, 802.1x) Experience in automated test development with a preference to using QualiSystems CloudShell/TestShell automation development tools Expertise in Python programming language and script generation Hands on experience using traffic generators such as IXIA or Spirent test Center Strong technical, analytical and testing skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training with 3+ years related experience.
PREFERRED Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks with little supervision Knowledge of overlaying GPON, XGPON and NGPON services onto a single fiber would be beneficial
