Who we are looking for
VML is seeking an Analyst to join the T-Mobile team. This role is one part reporting and two parts QA, focused on ensuring data quality before and after CRM campaign deployment.
You will investigate how first party data is generated, monitor whether CRM events and tracking codes fire correctly, and validate that creative and technical requirements are implemented accurately before campaigns go live. You will also support recurring reporting in Excel and PowerPoint using exported performance data.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, detail oriented, and comfortable following structured checklists and investigative workflows similar to SOC style monitoring. We are looking for someone who understand how assets are built, versioned, and deployed and have experience working with Creative, Production and Deployment teams as this is necessary for pre-deployment QA.
This is a high visibility role with opportunities to refine your analytical foundation while partnering across Strategy, Creative, Operations and Deployment. What you’ll do
Monitor | Review CRM events, tracking codes, UTMs, and customer journey triggers to confirm all required elements fire prior to deployment. Validate expected behaviors against actual system outputs and escalate discrepancies with clear documentation. QA | Conduct predeployment data and creative QA to ensure assets, links, and parameters match required tracking specifications. Identify missing fields, firing failures, and other issues that impact downstream reporting accuracy. Translate QA findings into actionable next steps for Creative, Production, and Deployment teams. Audit | Build and maintain QA checklists, documentation, and repeatable processes that strengthen data consistency and reduce post deployment issues. Support | Support recurring reporting in Excel and PowerPoint using exported first party data. Clean, organize, and structure datasets to create trend summaries and performance narratives. Analyze | Provide observations on performance shifts, anomalies, and data integrity issues on a weekly or biweekly cadence. Collaborate | Partner with Creative and Production teams to validate that assets meet tracking and CRM requirements before launch. Work directly with internal stakeholders and Deployment to resolve data gaps quickly. Support A B and multivariate test tracking through validation, documentation, and post test data checks.
Who you are
Detail Oriented | You notice what others overlook and understand how small data gaps cascade into larger reporting issues. Reliable | You follow direction well and recommend proactive solutions that protect the quality of reporting and measurement. Creatively Fluent | You understand how creative assets move from concept to production to deployment and can spot issues early in the handoff process. Motivated | You work with urgency, adapt quickly, and maintain a high standard of accuracy. Team Player | You help create a supportive, collaborative team culture and are comfortable navigating the unknown as T-Mobile’s CRM programs evolve. Clear Communicator | You can explain what fired, what did not, why it matters, and what needs to be adjusted so teams can take action. Ego Free | You are comfortable wearing the hat that needs wearing. You follow process and support the team’s collective success.
What it takes?
1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, QA, CRM operations, or performance reporting or a certification or academic background in Cyber Security with strong analytical and investigative skills Strong Excel skills including formulas, data cleaning, and data structuring Experience validating tracking, system behaviors, or structured data flows Familiarity with creative production workflows (preferred) Experience with PowerPoint reporting Interest in investigative work, data QA, and structured processes Basic experience with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and calm Strong written and verbal communication skills
