We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer with a strong focus on manual testing, who can also
contribute to automation testing as needed. In this role, you will work closely with developers,
product owners, and other QA team members in an agile environment to ensure the quality and
reliability of our software products. The majority of your responsibilities will involve manual testing,
with a smaller emphasis on automation.
Key Responsibilities
Understand product requirements and functional specifications Write, review, and execute detailed manual test cases Design and maintain test automation scripts using tools like Selenium/WebDriver Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing Log defects clearly and track them to closure using tools like Jira Contribute to test planning and status reporting Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage Maintain and update test documentation
Required Skills And Experience
6 - 9 Months of experience in software QA (Manual) Good understanding of Functional testing, UI testing and API testing for web apps and
mobile apps.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and other testing methodologies Experience in writing and executing test cases and reporting bugs Experience with test management and defect management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar Theoretical understanding of testing concepts in manual testing Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Good verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with Selenium (or similar web automation tools) Basic understanding of any programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins Basic knowledge of database and SQL ISTQB certification is a plus
