Role summary We’re looking for a Lead Automation QA engineer who can own quality at scale. This role will contribute to establishing testing strategy, processes, and best practices for a large, multi-team program. You’ll work closely with engineering and product to shift to drive quality improvement, standardize approaches, and raise the overall bar. Key responsibilities Define and own the testing strategy across the program (scope, tooling, coverage, environments). Establish QA standards, best practices, and guardrails Set up quality metrics and reporting Design, build, and evolve existing automation frameworks Mentor and upskill QA engineers on test automation practices. Execute variety of manual and automation testing tasks for new and existing features as part of QA team Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for new and existing features. Prepare testing documentation upon release. Required experience 8+ years in QA, with strong automation focus. Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch or scaling them across programs. Strong coding skills (preferably Python) - 5 years or more Experience with Playwright (3+ years ) Solid experience with API (Insomnia is a plus) and integration testing. Deep understanding of CI/CD and modern SDLC. Experience working in large, distributed, multi-team programs. Advanced English, daily communication with US-team members Nice to have Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments. Experience influencing quality practices at org or portfolio level. Prior role as QA Lead / Test Architect.
