Full Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance strategy and execution for large-scale business systems and platform development projects. This role is responsible for leading QA teams, establishing testing processes, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex, cross-functional environments.

The ideal candidate may come from either an automation-focused or manual testing background but must have hands-on experience leading a QA team of at least five members on enterprise-level projects.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a QA team (5+ members) across large-scale system or platform projects Define and execute overall test strategy, test planning, and quality governance Oversee test design, test case creation, execution, and defect management Coordinate closely with product managers, developers, and project managers Drive both manual and automated testing initiatives depending on project needs Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices Monitor quality metrics and report risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders Ensure releases meet defined quality, performance, and stability standards Support continuous improvement through post-release reviews and process optimization

Mandatory Qualifications 5+ years of QA experience in software development projects Experience leading a QA team of at least 5 members on a large-scale project Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies Experience defining and executing test strategies for complex systems Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination skills Ability to identify risks and drive issue resolution proactively Business-level English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications Experience building or scaling automation frameworks Experience improving QA processes at an organizational level Experience in data-intensive systems, platforms, or enterprise applications Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Japanese proficiency
