Full Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our software development team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. This role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, system, and performance testing
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Help improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
• Validate fixes and perform post-release verification

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or Software Tester
• Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JUnit, or TestNG
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to validate backend data
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
