Full Description

Design, develop, and execute test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of APIs and backend services. Validate API responses, error codes, payloads, and data integrity. Develop and maintain automated API test scripts using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP UI, JMeter, or similar. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Participate in agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Perform defect reporting, tracking, and validation in tools like JIRA, QTest, or ALM. Contribute to continuous testing and CI/CD integration with Jenkins, Git, or other pipelines.
