Senior Engineer - QA (Automation)

The Senior QA Automation is responsible for designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases while collaborating with teams to meet business and technical requirements ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role involves identifying defects, analyzing issues, improving testing processes, and contributing to overall product quality.
Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and report software defects, ensuring timely resolution by collaborating with development teams.
Quality Standards: Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes, guidelines, and best practices throughout the SDLC.
Requirement Analysis: Review and analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and use cases to develop robust testing strategies.
Automation: Utilize testing tools to execute automated and manual tests when appropriate, ensuring efficiency in the testing lifecycle.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products.
Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks, prioritize test efforts, and assess impact to ensure reliability of software products.
Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes. Report clearly on the product quality.
Client Engagement: Engage and communicate directly with client stakeholders for joint platform testing projects where applicable.
