5+ years in supply chain, purchasing, or materials management; proven purchasing/supply chain track record
Ability to read/analyze technical specs and drawings; strong organizational and detail orientation
Strong communication, collaboration under tight deadlines, and problem-solving; proficient in MS Excel
Aerospace/aviation experience
Experience with QMS (ISO 9001, AS9102) and multi-level BOM management
Formal procurement/materials management degree (bachelor’s preferred) and manufacturing process familiarity

ROLE: The Supply Chain Quality Engineer is responsible for the management and execution of the company's supply chain strategy. These responsibilities include inventory control, supplier identification/management, demand management and cost control. This role will interface extensively with external and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination with all contributors to the supply chain function. It will entail continuous, tactical execution (Purchasing / Inventory Transactions) together with continuous improvement as well as management of processes and procedures to ensure optimal supply chain performance. This individual must be self-motivated with the ability to set clear goals, manage issues and escalate when necessary to achieve results meeting tight deadlines.
