HEICO is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Engineer for a full time direct hire position in Hollywood, FL.
ROLE: The Supply Chain Quality Engineer is responsible for the management and execution of the company's supply chain strategy. These responsibilities include inventory control, supplier identification/management, demand management and cost control. This role will interface extensively with external and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination with all contributors to the supply chain function. It will entail continuous, tactical execution (Purchasing / Inventory Transactions) together with continuous improvement as well as management of processes and procedures to ensure optimal supply chain performance. This individual must be self-motivated with the ability to set clear goals, manage issues and escalate when necessary to achieve results meeting tight deadlines.
EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Bachelor's Degree in Procurements, Materials Management, Logistics, Engineering, science or business related degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations orientated roles with relevant experience in supply chain management, purchasing or materials management role. Proven record of supply chain achievement and in the application of purchasing and materials management best practice. Excellent interpersonal skills are required together with an ability to lead and participate in a team environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail. Ability to set clear goals, manage issues and escalate when necessary to achieve results. Ability to work in a team environment and under tight deadlines.
