Role & seniority: Quality Training Specialist (mid-level); typically 3–6+ years in training/related roles; project management focus preferred.
Stack/tools: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project); instructional design and adult learning theory; training delivery via classroom, webinars, and virtual platforms; ability to read blueprints and project documents; basic hand tools proficiency.
Develop and deliver trade-related, project-management training (classroom, hands-on, demonstrations, assessments).
Conduct training needs assessments, administer exams, evaluate training effectiveness, and write performance reports.
Provide on-site support, maintain standards, and design/ revise training programs; ensure safe, effective learning environment.
3+ years training experience (5+ preferred) and/or project management experience in telecom/electrical/construction fields.
Strong verbal/written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic construction/blueprint interpretation.
Ability to travel within branch/regional territory; ability to teach and manage programs; problem solving and presentation skills.
BICSI trainer certification.
Working knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, job costing, safety training, and contract administration.
Proficiency with MS Project; formal QA/qua
Qualifications
Must be able to effectively use basic hand tools: screwdriver (regular and Phillips), torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), and pliers (needle nose and channel locks), crescent wrench, sewing (stitching) needle, cable sheers, flush cutting pliers, multi-meter and rubber mallet (gray). Highly knowledgeable of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the commercial construction industry. Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Possess good knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their application. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications Working knowledge of construction process (bid process, project management, delegation, financial etc.)
