About the role At Alaan, we’re building a modern, AI-powered spend management platform that businesses across MENA rely on daily. As we scale globally and innovate aggressively, product quality and reliability are non-negotiable. We’re looking for a QA Analyst – Mobile Automation with strong expertise in Appium (Android/iOS), Java, and API automation to help us build robust, scalable test frameworks. In this role, you’ll work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure our mobile and backend systems are thoroughly validated, automated, and production-ready. What you'll do Develop and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks using Appium (Android & iOS) with Java. Automate REST APIs using Rest Assured and perform manual API validation using Postman. Build and maintain BDD frameworks using Cucumber (Java) to ensure clear, behavior-driven test coverage. Execute regression and functional test suites to ensure high product reliability across releases. Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred) for continuous validation. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality releases. Identify automation gaps and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and coverage. What we are looking for 2–5 years of experience in QA Automation, with strong focus on mobile and API testing.
