Our Test Technician Internship program is a full-year program, intended for students just finishing the 1st year of a 2-year technology degree. The work is full-time during the summer and winter breaks and part-time with flexible hours during the fall and spring semesters. This offers students the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while finishing the final year of their degree, and the opportunity to see real world examples of the theories presented in classes.

In this role, you will

  • Perform Manual and Automated Tests on Electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Work closely with experienced Technicians and Test Engineers to troubleshoot test failures
  • Work to understand how and why we test the way that we do
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of electrical and/or mechanical engineering principals through test failure analysis and troubleshoot
  • Work within the guidelines of BAE Systems operations procedures

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $39292 - $53055

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
