You can visit our website at www.pcxcorp.com for more information.A Day In The Life As Electrical Testing Technician I you will be responsible for Validating the function and performance for our Engineered Electrical Solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in Electrical Systems, Switchgear operation/testing and validation. Experience with and understanding Electrical Schematics, PLC Ladder Logic, and Instrument Diagrams. Have experience of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems while following appropriate Lockout/Tagout procedures. Able to inspect Electromechanical Equipment for cosmetic, electrical, and mechanical flaws and use PCX Non-conformance program to document and assist in correcting said flaws. Potential interface with customers, associates, and suppliers, so excellent communication skills are essential.What will help you thrive in this role? • 3-5 years’ work experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Systems environment or 1-2 years' experience & 2-year electrical degree • Minimum of 6 months’ experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting busbar assemblies, and transformers • Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications • Experience in the integration of electrical and mechanical systems for custom applications • Good working knowledge of NEC, UL, and ETL for low voltage applications • Strong interpersonal skills for developing and functioning in a team environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • MS Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)Hubbell Incorporated
