Top 3 responsibilities

Ensure test readiness and execute functional, electrical, interlock, protection, and control tests per customer and internal requirements; document outcomes and close out witness tests prior to shipment

Validate Engineer-to-Order designs with customers to ensure conformity to requirements; address design intent, functionality, and compliance during witness tests

Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and operations to make equipment, documentation, and configurations test-ready; manage large projects to completion with limited supervision
Must-have skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) from an accredited institution

Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with electrical distribution and control products

Ability to interpret customer specifications and electrical/mechanical drawings

Working knowledge of NEC, IEEE, UL, and related local electrical codes

Full Description
Maintain familiarity with product line engineering and application requirements, inclusive of electrical, electro-mechanical, programmable logic controllers and communication protocols. Review customer specifications, drawings, schematics, and test requirements to ensure test readiness prior to scheduled events. Validate Engineer-to-Order (ETO) designs released by the engineering team with customers to ensure the designs meet their specific requirements. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure equipment, documentation, and configurations are test‑ready. Support the negotiation of customer change notices and executable requirements for our engineering and design teams. Represent Front End Engineering during witness tests, addressing customer and internal technical questions related to design intent, functionality, and compliance. Support execution of functional, electrical, interlock, protection, and control testing as defined by customer and internal requirements. Identify, document, and drive resolution of test‑related issues, deviations, or non‑conformances. Ensure witness test outcomes are properly documented and closed prior to shipment. Manage large projects to completion within deadlines with little or no supervision. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience with electrical distribution and control products. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Greenwood, SC facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of two (2) years with the associated product line. Working knowledge of N.E.C., IEEE, UL, and various local electric codes. Ability to interpret both customer specifications and electrical and mechanical drawings. Utilization of substantial product knowledge for communication with sales, customers, engineering, and manufacturing personnel.
