Frequentis Canada based in Gatineau, Quebec, is looking for a dynamic individual to join our well-established team as a Product Verification Specialist. As part of our team, working closely with Project Management, Research and Development and Product Management you will test and verify Frequentis products and systems. The position is based in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada and is open to Canadian Citizens and Canadian Permanent Residents. Additional Benefits Trusted Working Hours Private Medical Insurance Private Pension Training & Development Employee Referral Program Responsibilities Understand customer requirements Understand design process and implementation Produce product verification test plan Define test objectives Design innovative acceptance test cases Perform system setup and configuration for intended test case Perform regression tests and design automated testing Assisting with identifying errors and debugging in products and projects Design, develop and implement methods of testing and troubleshooting systems Identify and use IP and telephony test tools Verify system user documentation Maintain software release package Create software release notes Maintain lab assets and setup Perform design approval test with end users Integration and qualification of COTS telecommunication products Supporting integration of products and projects into the system Supporting continuous troubleshooting of products/components throughout the lifecycle Assist sales with proposal engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technician with 2 years of related experience Applicants will be required to obtain/hold a valid and current Canadian security clearance to gain access to the classified spaces, information and equipment in order toto perform the work associated with this position, which requires a minimum five-year consecutive residence in Canada. Bilingual (French and English) is an asset 2+ years’ experience testing and validating integrated hardware & software systems Telecommunications/telephony systems and related technology experience (VoIP, T1/E1, ISDN, MFC-R2, POTS, FXS, TDM, IP, TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, μwave) Air Traffic Management systems and related technology experience (Voice Communication System, Radar, Flight Strip, Voice Legal recorder, ATIS, Voice and Data multiplexer) High familiarity with ATC product and industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures Network troubleshooting and analysis tools (Wireshark) Experience with Telephony, IP and load testing tools Excellent writing skills Excellent problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills Experience with a variety of operating systems including Windows Server 200x, Windows XP/7/8/10, Linux and others Experienced in effectively interfacing with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors on a technical level
