Salary: $24 - $50 / hour
Role & seniority: Test Technician / Test Engineer (entry to mid-level) focusing on battery cell/module/pack testing.
Stack/tools: Specialized test equipment for electrical/mechanical/thermal stress testing; data acquisition systems; sensors; teardown tools; maintenance and calibration tools; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); SOP documentation and adherence.
Test and validate cells, modules, and packs under electrical, mechanical, and thermal stresses.
Perform complex destructive testing and collect data from multiple sensors; conduct teardown inspections for further analysis.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment and data collection tools; troubleshoot data acquisition systems; collaborate with other teams on sample builds and instrumentation.
Strong safety awareness and follow procedures.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to learn new test procedures and software; working knowledge of MS Office.

Utilize specialized equipment to test and validate cells, modules, battery packs and related components under electrical, mechanical and thermal stresses Perform complex destructive testing and gather data from a variety of sensors Perform teardown inspection post-testing and gather data to be used for further analysis Maintain test equipment and data collection tools Perform periodic maintenance, calibration, and repairs Troubleshoot data acquisition systems and sensors Collaborate with other teams on sample build, preparation, and instrumentation Follow and edit standard operating procedures
