Role & seniority: Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk (entry-level to mid-support level); reports to Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management.
Stack/tools: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); data collection, analysis, and reporting; familiarity with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CDPH, CMS).
Collect, format, and report data to support hospital-wide performance improvement, quality, and risk programs.
Analyze trends to identify issues and potential risks; develop written narrative and statistical reports.
Review policies/procedures for regulatory compliance and serve as Patient Ambassador for complaints/grievances as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; major in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration (bonus).
CPR certification (or obtained during orientation); verbal de-escalation/physical intervention training per CNO.

POSITION TITLE: Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk
PAY RANGE: $27.00-$31.73 Per Hour
REPORTS TO: Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management
Under the supervision of the Director of Performance Improvement & Risk Management, the Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk gathers data to help monitor and evaluates hospital-wide performance improvement (PI), quality and risk management programs. This includes conducting research; analyzing, tracking, trending, and interpreting data; developing written reports, and other duties as assigned. The Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk could also serve as the Patient Ambassador in facilitating the facility's handling and response to patient complaints/grievances and satisfaction surveys. The Quality Assurance Analyst Clerk maintains knowledge of, participates in further training provided, and understands the potential risks regarding occupational health hazards (e.g. bloodborne pathogen exposures).
Ensures needed data is collected on a timely basis, formatted and reported to supervisor Reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to The Joint Commission, CDPH, CMS. Comparing policies and procedures against regulatory requirements Analyzes, tracks, trends, and interprets data to identify issues or potential areas of risk. Develops written narrative and statistical reports Keeps supervisor informed of all regular communications and reports. Performs related duties as assigned Upholds the Organization's ethics and customer service standards
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college university, preferred. Major in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Administration, a plus
Behavioral Health and/or Hospital background preferred General knowledge of areas of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment preferred Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required, or obtained within initial orientation period. Verbal de-escalation and physical intervention program as approved by the CNO
