Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Design, to improve overall product quality and deliver a seamless, reliable user experience. The role emphasizes strong manual testing expertise and close collaboration with automation engineers to optimize test coverage.
Responsibilities Analyze product requirements and create clear, well-structured test cases and test plans Validate new features and ensure readiness for production releases Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing Identify, document, and track defects, and verify fixes Support release sign-off by providing clear testing results and quality recommendations Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, best practices, and testing standards
Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices Confident knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing Basic understanding of CI tools and modern software development practices Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray) Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Bugzilla) Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Proactive approach to identifying risks and improving product quality Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
