Our client is a rapidly growing pension fund who invest across global financial markets, real assets, private credit, and private equity. They currently have a requirement for an Automation Engineer to join them on an initial 6-month contract. The role will report to the Modern Workplace Engineering Manager and will be a hands-on technical specialist role, focusing on delivering and supporting automation across technology and the business. This role includes technical engineering, operational management, as well as ensuring alignment to businesses processes, standards and best practices. The role will actively champion continuous improvement, particularly automation, to drive process efficiency and reduce manual workload. The role includes working collaboratively with other Technology Services colleagues, including architects, engineers, and delivery teams.
The successful applicant will be technology specialist who is passionate about automation, development, engineering, and striving for improvement across technology operations.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills, with a focus on automation at scale Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Experience designing and integrating with APIs such as Microsoft Graph API
