We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented QA engineer with a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, complex hardware and software environment.

Key job responsibilities

Develop test strategies, test plans, and automated test cases Build test infrastructure/environment to support manual and automation test execution Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain test plans and automation involving one or more product components and/or features Create and maintain automation scripts, and execute automated test cases. Debug/Troubleshoot test failures/automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects Perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis, and escalate roadblocks/risks Improve test mechanisms and best practices

The Amazon Emerging Devices Software (EDS) is part of the Amazon Devices team. We design and engineer high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Echo devices. Our portfolio also includes innovative devices like Amazon Echo buds, Echo Frames and Echo Auto. What will you help us create next?

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience Experience in manual testing Experience in automation testing Experience scripting or coding Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
