If the thrill of being at the cutting edge of automotive technology excites you, this opportunity is your calling! We’re looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious professional to join our team as a Level 5 Vehicle Operator at an on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company.
In this role, you’ll operate L5 autonomous vehicles to support vehicle readiness, complete software and hardware tests, and, when needed, represent the company as an ambassador to the public. You’ll collaborate with multiple engineering and operations teams, gaining a front-row seat to the operational complexities of autonomous mobility and helping shape the future of transportation.

Responsibilities – Daily Expectations
Operate L5 autonomous vehicles and complete test missions safely, driving 4–8 hours per day. Support software testing, vehicle preparation, and hardware validation to ensure safe and reliable operations. Assist the Mission Readiness team with basic preventative maintenance, vehicle checks, services, and equipment setup. Monitor devices during testing and troubleshoot issues, escalating to test coordinators as needed. Document test results, metrics, and operational observations to provide insights to engineering teams. Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure mission objectives are met efficiently and safely. Represent the company positively when interacting with the public or other stakeholders. Support logistics, including movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications – What It Takes
Experience working with and troubleshooting complex technical systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. Valid driver’s license held for at least three years, with a clean driving record. Ability to spend extended periods in a vehicle and perform hands-on tasks. Proactive, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work shifts during days, nights, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field (Engineering, IT, STEM). Previous experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, or aviation industries. Military experience valued for structured operations and adaptability. Experience working in a Linux environment. Proven ability to work autonomously, navigate technical challenges, and meet deadlines.
