As an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator, you will focus on performing software test planning and execution for the organization s Autonomous Vehicle Technology. As an integral part of the organization, you'll work with both software and hardware engineering teams covering multiple disciplines to provide a quality product.
Looking for candidates who have fulfilled Test Operator roles and have Troubleshooting/Diagnostic Experience and Computer Science backgrounds.
Driving Experience / T1/T2 Level Required
Location: Santa Clara, CA, 100% onsite (Combination of Weekday Night Shift 4:00PM 1:00AM /Weekend Days candidates must be flexible as hours change)
Driving experience (T1/T2 certified.) Usually those with previous driving or track experience have a better chance of passing this training
Assigned one or more tasks every day and executing those tasks end-to-end per defined instructions. Install software in the vehicle as instructed. Execute those test cases in the vehicle with or without Autonomous mode (e.g., ACC, LK, Parking Assist, NCAP, etc.). Tasks will have defined test cases and expected deliverables. Collect all issues and feedback from the drive. Collect all logs/data from the car/vehicle. Upload and report all issues/logs/data to the server. You will collaborate with a team of expert engineers encompassing the entire organization s Automotive platform. As such, you should have a track record of working well across organizations.
Technical/Computer education degree or relevant 1+ years of experience
Operating system basics - Linux, QNX.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience of excellent test planning and execution.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written; speak, read, and write English at a professional level. Strong desire to learn new skills and technology.
Demonstrated values of self-motivation and ownership.
Valid USA driving license with clean record for at least 1 year.
Experience in Test Operator role for Autonomous Vehicle technology.
Experience in Linux, QNX
Candidate Summary
Please include driving certifications (T1/T2 and/or racetrack driving certification from another automotive supplier.
Include relevant racetrack driving experience, i.e. Going 0 to 100 as quickly as possible, slamming on breaks, avoiding objects at high speed, racetrack drifting, etc.
