Investigate and resolve out-of-control (OoC) product parameters with in-production batches; implement controls from FMEA (specifications, control limits, trend rules)
Address customer quality/performance complaints; respond to requests on specifications, manufacturing process, control plans, and quality systems
Must-have skills
Four-year technical degree (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science) or equivalent
≥2 years in quality engineering, formulation development, analytical science, statistics, process engineering, or chemical manufacturing
≥2 years’ experience with statistical techniques (SPC)
Ability to solve technical problems; excellent verbal/written communication; strong attention to detail
Work authorization: US Green Card or US Citizen (no student visa or sponsorship)
Nice-to-haves
Experience with OoC investigations, FMEA-driven controls, and SPC software beyond basics
Prior exposure to semiconductor/electronics manufacturing environments

Job Title: Product Quality Engineer
Location: Hayward, CA
Contract Duration: 12 months (Possible extension)
Pay Rate Range: $40.00 - $43.52/hr on W2
Work Authorization: Only GC or US Citizen (no student’s visa or sponsorship)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: quality engineering, formulation development, analytical science, statistics, process engineering, chemical manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to solve problems of a technical nature Minimum of 2 years' experience using statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC). Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong attention to detail.
