Role & seniority: Test Automation Engineer – Computer Vision (mid-level, 2+ years in relevant roles)
Stack/tools: Python; Linux; Git; CI/CD; PyTorch; CUDA; experience with computer vision pipelines and deep learning models (object detection/tracking); C++ is a plus
Design and implement automated regression tests for computer vision functionality using vision KPIs
Validate end-to-end CV pipelines incorporating deep learning/AI models; analyze results
Integrate and maintain vision-focused tests within CI/CD; support training/verification/evaluation of AI models
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related field
2+ years in test automation, software engineering, or AI/vision roles
Hands-on experience with CV pipelines and DL models for detection/tracking
Proficiency in Python; Linux, Git, and CI/CD familiarity; ability to work with vision KPIs
C++ knowledge
Experience with PyTorch, CUDA
Collaboration in multidisciplinary Agile/Scrum teams; willingness to learn and iterate

We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer - Computer Vision to join the team in the Rotterdam Area.
As a Test Automation Engineer - Computer Vision, you will play a key role in validating and ensuring the reliability of computer vision functionality within advanced robotic and intelligent systems. You will design and implement automated, system-level regression tests that use vision-specific KPIs to thoroughly evaluate object detection, tracking, and other perception capabilities under realistic operating conditions.
You will work within multidisciplinary Scrum teams inside Product Development, collaborating closely with software engineers, computer vision experts, test specialists, data scientists, and electronics engineers. Together, you will ensure that vision pipelines and AI-driven perception models operate consistently, robustly, and securely across our systems. We value diverse perspectives and encourage you to share ideas, ask questions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and CI/CD processes.
