Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance across our AI vision-powered robotics systems. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies—covering AI vision models, robotics controls, software, hardware, and system integration—to ensure robust, reliable, and seamless operation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and leverage DevOps practices to embed quality, automation, and continuous integration throughout development, testing, and deployment.

The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid In this role you will be contributing for Robot & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Lead domain-specific testing across AI vision models, robotics kinematics, control systems, software algorithms, hardware components, UI, and automation cells, ensuring thorough validation of each area.
• Conduct system integration testing and end-to-end validation to confirm cohesive functioning of all subsystems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies within Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test suites and frameworks tailored to each domain, and manage test infrastructure including environments, DevOps/CI/CD pipelines, and test data versioning for scalable validation.
• Perform root cause analysis, track defects, and coordinate corrective actions with software, robotics, hardware, and product teams to drive quality improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, quality metrics, and reporting to support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure transparency in testing outcomes.
• Qualifications for the role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
