OffWorld is seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Test & Integration Engineer to join a fast-moving team working to create advanced robotic and space systems. As a Robotics Test & Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing testing and integration activities. These testing and integration activities span virtual tests (e.g., simulation), subsystem and system testing of robotic platforms at both testing facilities and field-deployed sites (open pit and subterranean mines). You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure that testing, integration, and overall development goals are met to the highest standards.
Test Planning and Execution: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring adequate coverage of all robotic system components and functionalities. Coordinate and execute testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and stress testing.
Test Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks. Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes through automation.
Test Reporting and Documentation: Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive test reports, documenting any defects, issues, or areas of improvement. Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, configurations, and test environments.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to understand project requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment between development and testing activities.
