Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector, is seeking a high-caliber Payments Test Manager to lead critical, large-scale payment processing projects. This is a 12-month daily rate contract based in Dublin, offering a hybrid working model (2–3 days onsite). This role is ideal for a seasoned testing professional who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and has a deep technical understanding of modern payment rails.
The Role As the Test Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end testing lifecycle across one or more concurrent delivery streams. You will bridge the gap between onshore project teams and offshore delivery units, ensuring high-quality releases within a fast-paced environment.
Strategy & Planning: Perform requirement analysis and create comprehensive Test Strategies, environment plans, and detailed work breakdown structures.
Financial & Resource Management: Provide accurate test estimates (timelines/resourcing) and track project costs and labor hours.
Execution Leadership: Proactively drive test activities to meet strict schedules, ensuring all phases (SIT, UAT, NFT) are completed to a high standard.
Defect & Risk Management: Own the defect management process and manage the RAID log, ensuring risks are mitigated and escalated appropriately.
Technical Oversight: Drive automation and Agile practices by collaborating with the Automation Shared Service and managing environment upgrades.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for PMs, Business teams, and Deployment Managers, providing regular reporting on KPIs and metrics.
