Job Summary

Ensures software, products, and systems meet quality standards, functionality, and performance requirements before release.

Essential Functions

Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases, scripts, and plans
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
Analyze test results, report findings, and recommend corrective actions
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices, creation and enhancement of SOPs
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing
Self-motivated and able to focus on priorities of the organization
Working in diverse workstreams, agile and non-agile as well as development and bug fix

Nonessential Functions

Participating in ad-hoc projects or special assignments as directed by management
Identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks in existing QA or development workflows and recommending solutions to improve them
Sharing best practices and lessons learned within the organization
Contributing to the creation or refinement of internal guidelines, templates, or tools that streamline QA and related processes
Preparing and organizing management information, such as progress reports or summaries for leadership
Assisting other departments with quality-related inquiries or minor process improvements outside the main QA scope.
