This is a remote position.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Indian university.
Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts. Experience in both frontend and backend testing. Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Background in testing web applications, mobile applications, and desktop applications. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Requirements
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work in an agile development environment.
ISTQB Certified Tester. Certified Agile Tester (CAT). Certification in relevant automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium Certification).
Familiarity with the local tech ecosystem in Hyderabad or Bangalore. Experience working with leading tech companies or startups in the region. Knowledge of the local job market and industry trends.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or PostgreSQL. Ability to create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) or test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
