DPP is seeking a Test Automation Engineer for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Partial onsite: at least 3 days per week onsite and as needed. W2 position; 6 months with possible extension Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the client s applicable government contract.
The typical day for the Test Automation Engineer involves coding and maintaining automated test scripts, executing these tests, and analyzing the results to identify and report application defects. Collaborates with Scrum Team to understand requirements for building test automation scripts and participating in Scrum meetings. Tasks also include managing test environments and data and continuous learning to stay updated on new automation tools and strategies.
The portal group has one Scrum development team of 6 people. They are currently working on Spring upgrades and several new initiates for user facing enhancements and backend connectivity. The culture is collaborative, positive, and team oriented.
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch, flexible. Occasional off-hours and weekends.
