Description
We are seeking a skilled Selenium Automation Engineer to join our QA team.
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.
You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to create a robust automation framework that supports continuous integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. Execute test cases, identify defects, and track them using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application requirements and design effective test automation solutions. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in automation scripting. Develop and maintain a scalable automation framework using tools like TestNG, Maven, or Cucumber. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar). Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights to improve application quality. Stay updated with the latest QA automation trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java, Python, or C#. Strong understanding of automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
Hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or GitLab. Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems and build tools (Maven/Gradle). Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
