Role & seniority: Quality Assurance Engineer (mid-level to experienced) on a software team focused on testing PCIe switch technologies.
Stack/tools: PCIe domain knowledge; Python for automation; PCIe test features (Config Space, Link Training, ACS, Hotplug, Virtualization, P2P, BMC, AER/DPC); test equipment (analyzers, load generators); possible exposure to GPUs, NVMe, networking concepts.
Design and review test scenarios, cases, and automation scripts.
Validate system-level PCIe switch functionality, performance, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop test strategies from specifications, review documentation, and manage multiple concurrent tasks/releases.
MSEE (no experience required) or Bachelors in Engineering with 2 yrs QA/Testing/Validation/Verification in semiconductors.
PCIe knowledge; strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities; good communication and proactive mindset.
Deep PCIe protocol/system-architecture understanding; storage (NVMe) or networking experience.
Experience with PCIe features and test equipment; Python automation; familiarity with GPUs; networking protocols (L2/L3, RoCE); exposure to DL models.
