About the role We're looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation of test plans and test scenarios
- Preparation of test data
- Execution of the test scenarios
- Test automation
- Tracking of defects
Must-have competencies
- Fluent English skills (at least C1 level)
- Good German skills (at least B2/C1 level)
- Proven experience in creating test plans, test designs, and test scenarios
- Experience in feature testing, API testing, and end‑to‑end (E2E) testing
- Experience in test automation and/or practical programming or scripting skills (Python, Angular, Java)
- Experience working according to Agile/Scrum and with Azure DevOps
- Experience working with Playwright and/or RobotFramework
- Experience working with Kafka
- Critical thinking skills and the willingness to question assumptions
- Ability to understand technical IT concepts such as service and client application, web service, API, protocol, frontend, backend, etc.
Nice-have competencies
- French and/or Dutch language skills, if available
- Knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with DevOps tickets is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and corresponding queries
- GUI tests (web application for internal use only; no mobile applications)
- Backend performance tests
