Akkodis is seeking a Test Engineer III for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. Candidate must have strong experience in BMS firmware testing with solid Python programming skills to drive automated verification workflows.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Test Engineer III Job Responsibilities Include
Executes electrical and battery cycler tests in collaboration with technicians and test engineers, ensuring accurate reporting of results. Generates KPIs for daily lab activities to support operational visibility and performance tracking. Reviews BMU schematics and layouts to validate conformance and assess overall testability. Conducts investigations, prepares supporting documentation, and analyses validation data to aid decision‑making. Operates complex test setups and DOE configurations using high‑accuracy measurement equipment. Troubleshoots equipment and sample issues while maintaining test systems and ensuring that all collected data meets strict quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Must have an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a B.Sc. with relevant industrial experience. 5-7 Years of experience required. Must have strong programming skills in Python to support test automation and firmware validation workflows. Must possess hands‑on experience with BMS firmware testing, hardware/firmware verification, and operation of test tools such as battery testers and precision measurement equipment.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $67.00 per hour
