Job Title: Sr. DeltaV Automation Engineer

Location: Muskegon, MI (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Project Scope & Responsibilities

• You will play a critical role in commissioning a DeltaV automation system within a Pharma/Biotech environment. This is a hands-on development role-not just operational use.

Key Responsibilities Include

Developing DeltaV Code: Control Modules, Equipment Modules, Phases, and Recipes. Troubleshooting, testing, and modifying existing code. Mentoring Junior and Intermediate Engineers on-site. Collaborating closely with client and project teams. Supporting post-commissioning site activities.

Important Note

• Candidates with primarily validation or operator-only DeltaV experience will be disqualified. This role requires software development and commissioning capabilities.

Top Must-Haves

• Deep experience with Emerson DeltaV in automation project delivery and commissioning.
• Strong background in GAMP, cGMP, ISA-88, and SDLC concepts.
• Hands-on development of automation code (not just execution or use).
• Excellent troubleshooting, testing, and debugging skills.
• Experience in regulated environments (Pharma/Biotech).

Hybrid Option (If Not Local)

• Travel required up to 3 weeks at a time during peak periods.
• Ideally a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off cadence otherwise (pending final confirmation).
• Travel expenses reimbursed per client policy.
