We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to support a high-impact Android development team. This role will help ensure reliable, high-quality mobile applications through both manual and automated testing. The successful candidate will bring strong QA expertise, automation experience, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to uphold product excellence.
Key Responsibilities Partner with engineers, product owners, and designers to ensure the overall quality of Android applications. Design, develop, and execute automation tests for Android native applications. Provide technical guidance on automation best practices and frameworks. Apply strong database skills to support automation efforts with structured content and data. Conduct performance testing to validate stability, scalability, and responsiveness. Support unit testing practices and collaborate with developers to improve code quality. Document and communicate test results, defects, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and defect management. Hands-on experience with test automation for Android native applications. Strong knowledge of databases and ability to apply them in automation scenarios. Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies. Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Espresso, Appium, or similar. Background in supporting large-scale or global applications.
