Full Description
Role Summary: The Auditor is responsible for managing the Quality Management System (QMS) audit program and overseeing quality-related events. The role includes assisting in the preparation and issuance of Quality Assurance (QA) reports.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits, supplier evaluation and re-evaluation audits, and external audits.
- Evaluate current operating procedures and recommend improvements to enhance quality oversight and production activities.
- Prepare audit plans and oversee the execution of audits in accordance with approved audit plans and procedures, including registration and reporting of results.
- Lead and support the internal audit team.
- Maintain and control audit documentation and records.
- Report the results of internal and supplier qualification audits to the QMS Services Superintendent.
- Register and monitor open quality events, and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Provide daily updates on the status of quality events to the QA Manager and QMS Services Superintendent.
- Maintain the quality events register and related documentation.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions related to quality events and report any ineffective actions to the QA Manager and QMS Services Superintendent.
- Support investigations related to customer/end-user complaints and quality events.
- Prepare the monthly Quality Baseline (QBL) report.
- Prepare and present reports on nonconformities and quality event status during weekly quality meetings.
- Provide daily updates to the Quality Assurance dashboards.
- Manage Concession Requests and Deviation Requests.
- Assist departments in preparing risk assessments.
- Conduct random compliance assessments to ensure adherence to procedures, work instructions, and JESCO rules.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Successful completion of an IRCA-recognized Lead Auditor course or equivalent certification.
- 3–5 years of experience in the oil and gas manufacturing sector, specifically with API Spec Q1-related products, in a similar role.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting internal and vendor audits.
- Experience in planning and hosting second-party and third-party audits.
