About the role The Quality Engineering Chapter Lead – Practices & People plays a pivotal leadership role within one of the largest Engineering chapters (300+ professionals). The position partners closely with the Head of Chapter, fellow Chapter Leads, and Domain Leadership to shape and continuously enhance the Chapter across three core dimensions: community and belonging, engineering quality, and capability development. The role combines strategic influence with people leadership responsibilities, including line management where applicable, ensuring consistent standards, strong engagement, and the ongoing growth of skills and practices across the Chapter. Vision and Strategy: Shapes and delivers the Chapter’s strategic and operational roadmap in line with Kingfisher Technology goals
People Allocation: Leads the people strategy, ensuring effective resourcing and strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships
Capability: Drives capability growth through re/upskilling and recruitment, fostering a culture of development and owning People Playbooks and leadership training
Technical Standards: Elevates technical quality and practices, ensuring standards evolve with industry best practice
Recruitment: Leads talent acquisition, building strong partnerships to meet Chapter and business needs
Coach and Advisor: Acts as a senior coach, guiding teams and neighbouring Chapters in applying best practice and leadership behaviours
