Role & seniority: AI Solutions Validation Engineer (mid-to-senior level) focused on AI infrastructure and distributed training/inference; hybrid work arrangement.
Stack/tools: AMD ROCm; GPUs, ROCEv2; RDMA-based clusters; AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Megatron-LM, JAX); LLMs/MoE workloads; benchmarking tools (IBPerf, RCCL/NCCL); schedulers (Kubernetes, Slurm); automation (Python, Golang); Linux/Windows; exposure to vLLM, SGLang; AMD hardware bring-ups.
Validate AI solutions for distributed training/inference with ROCm and AMD architectures; publish reference designs and benchmarks.
Build cluster-scale automation for AI workloads; develop high-quality automation frameworks and scripts.
Engage in optimization efforts, ASIC/hardware bring-ups, and establish technical relationships with peers and partners.
Experience with complex AI/HPC compute systems and validation of AI infrastructure (GPUs, networking, ROCEv2, UEC).
Training/inference workflows across frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Megatron-LM, JAX) and LLMs/MoE; benchmarking (IBPerf, RCCL/NCCL).
Distributed systems/schedulers (Kubernetes, Slurm); scripting in Python or Golang; performance profiling (CPU/GPU) and debugging.
Linux and Windows proficiency; strong communication/problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with ROCm is highly preferred.
