Job Description: About the Role Own and evolve our testing strategy for a web-based solar energy platform. Automation-focused, with responsibility for setting up and maintaining testing frameworks, improving CI integration, and mentoring a junior tester. Key Responsibilities • Own overall testing strategy and quality standards • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (E2E, API, integration) for web UI (Angular) and REST APIs • Set up testing infrastructure from scratch (Playwright/Cypress, Postman/Newman) • Integrate all automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Define quality gates and release criteria • Perform higher-complexity manual and exploratory testing where automation is not effective • Validate PV calculation accuracy with domain experts Required Qualifications • Strong programming experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar) • Proven experience establishing testing infrastructure independently for the following: • Frontend: Angular • Backend: Go / Python / C++ • APIs: REST • Database: PostgreSQL • Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Azure DevOps, CI pipelines • Tooling: Jira, Git, API testing tools • Web testing automation (Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, etc.) • API automation frameworks At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
