Role & seniority: Qualified QA Engineer (mid‑level expectation) joining an active, autonomous cross-functional team in Wroclaw.
Stack/tools: Linux/Unix environment; .NET ecosystem; Java and C++; Selenium WebDriver (Page Object, selectors, waits); JavaScript basics for WebDriver; BDD (test-driven development); CI/CD tools; Kafka (nice-to-have).
Design, development, and maintenance of automated testing scripts; create/execute automated test cases from user stories.
Collaborate with development teams to define acceptance tests, balance speed and quality for continuous delivery; identify bugs and coordinate remediation.
Drive quality activities through development and releases; contribute to platform architecture and test automation across the pipeline; advance CI/CD toolchain.
Proficiency in Java and C++.
Strong experience with automated testing design and execution; ownership of test automation lifecycle.
Knowledge of test strategies (BDD/TDD) and collaboration with dev teams to define acceptance criteria.

The project is related to regulatory reporting for one of Clients from Investment Banking area. We are using Linux/Unix & .Net technologies. We also plan to start necessary development activities related to integrate existing solution with a newly created umbrella system used for high volume data archiving.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and C++
A good knowledge of test driven development approaches such as BDD to support continuous delivery
Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of automated testing along with creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts
Experience in Kafka will be beneficial
Analyse, design, and build automated test cases based on acceptance criteria captured in user stories
Collaborating with development teams to develop quality products; working closely together to understand the functionality and devise acceptance tests at an appropriate test level, prioritizing both speed and quality to support continuous delivery
Act as a lynchpin for product quality activities during development & releases such as identifying bugs and coordinating remediation
Continuously improve the CI/CD toolchain and services in close collaboration with the agile programs and software engineers and the central architecture
Researching issues in software with remediation geared towards designing & developing test automation scripts
Contribution to the platform architecture and product solution design
Selenium WebDriver (Page Object pattern, selectors, waits, timeouts, FindElements, some minimal knowledge of JavaScript to use it together with WebDriver
