Role & seniority: Advanced Test Manager; lead/test management role in R&D Defense Test Management
Stack/tools: verification and validation (V&V) processes, CI/CD integration, test automation frameworks/tools, test planning and master plans, collaboration with software developers and system engineers
Plan, monitor, and control system integration and verification; own the Verification Master Plan; point of contact for verification
Plan and drive all test activities; ensure systems meet standards/specifications; support automated tests in CI/CD

Your role in our team
As our new Advanced Test Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our advanced software solutions within the R&D Defense Test Management department. You will be part of the Test Management team, working closely with experienced test engineers across R&D.
With a strong understanding of systems engineering, verification and validation processes, you will be responsible for securing product quality through strategic test planning, team leadership, test execution, test automation, and close collaboration with stakeholders.
There is an increasing focus on CI/CD and multiple levels of test automation, which forms an important part of the role and is carried out in close cooperation with software developers, system engineers, fellow testers, and other technical specialists.
The Test Management department is located across our offices in Lystrup and Søborg.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Plan, monitor, and control the integration and verification of the system Responsible for the Verification Master Plan Point of contact for the verification effort Plan and drive in all test activities and ensure that the system meets the required standards and specifications Support the integration of automated tests with the CI-CD pipeline
Contribute to a Test Community of Practice: Engage with other test enthusiasts to share knowledge, best practices, and continuously improve testing methodologies and processes
Continuously Improving Ways of Working: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities
Bring your world class expertise into play
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within Software Engineering or a similar field of study You are certified in software testing principles (ISTQB, TMAP, or similar) You have solid experience with planning and leading test activities in software development You have experience with testing complex systems You have knowledge of software development and an understanding of the fundamentals of software testing and the concepts of system engineering, verification and validation You understand agile development methods (Scrum) and project-oriented processes as well as test automation frameworks and tools
As a person, you have a strong enthusiasm for testing and engineering, motivated by contributing to software solutions that enhance safety through advanced technology. You thrive in complex and specialized environments and maintain a structured, composed approach in fast-paced and demanding situations. With strong communication and leadership capabilities, you are able to lead the test effort effectively while promoting collaboration across teams.
