About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworksfor functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web, mobile, and API layers. Create robust, reusable test scriptsusing modern automation tools and languages (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST-assured, etc.). Integrate AI-powered testing tools(e.g., model-based testing, intelligent defect prediction, self-healing scripts) to enhance test coverage and reduce manual effort. Implement CI/CD-integrated test pipelinesusing platforms like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and data scientiststo align test strategies with evolving product requirements and AI-driven features. Perform intelligent defect triagingusing bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure Boards, Jira) and link issues to test failures and root causes. Continuously optimize test executionby applying parallelization, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud-based test environments. Stay current with emerging trendsin AI-assisted testing, autonomous QA, and DevTestOps to drive innovation in quality engineering practices. Deliver actionable insightsthrough detailed test reports, dashboards, and analytics to inform stakeholders and guide release decisions.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: You have proven work experience (min 3 years) in Mobile App Testing and Web Browser Testing. (Additionally, if you have experience in payments domain then it’s a plus)
Programming Language & Frameworks: Basic knowledge inJava, JavaScript, C#, TestNG, Selenium.
Databases & OS used: MySQL, MariaDB, Windows, Linux, RedHat, CentOS
Tools & Utilities: Notepad++, Git, MySQL client, SoapUI and Postman
Debug & Test Programs: FinSimandPostMan
