Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite System Test Engineer to an Automotive project.
The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.
At our project we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture – key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development and test automation, preferably within the automotive domain Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or C# Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools Hands-on experience with test automation development, including scripting, framework architecture, and test integration Solid understanding of test methodologies across the entire development lifecycle, including unit, integration, system and regression testing Ability to analyze ambiguous or incomplete requirements and define comprehensive test strategies Experience transforming manual test cases into scalable automated solutions Practical experience with automotive test setups such as HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), Box Cars, or other physical test systems Familiarity with functional and low-level technical testing (e.g., BaseTech, communication stacks, ECU interfaces) Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven mindset Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Proficient in using test management tools, version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking systems English language proficiency – minimum B2 level, able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English Valid driving license Ability to work on-site from the Krakow office
Job responsibilities
Test Automation and Development Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage, particularly for repetitive and complex test cases.
– Identify, propose, and implement automation work packages to continuously increase the level of test automation.
– Utilize and interpret data from logs generated by automation and rig environments (e.g., using Python, CAPL, and/or C#).
– Test Setup Maintenance (Physical/Hardware Focus)
– Take responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of complex test setups (e.g., physical car setups, hardware-in-the-loop systems).
– Prepare test objects (e.g., vehicles/rigs) by ensuring correct hardware and software baselines are installed and configured.
– Perform necessary hardware upgrades and technical maintenance in collaboration with engineering teams.
